1st day: Arrival
You will be welcome by us at Tocumen International
Airport, nearby Panama City, and transferred to your Hotel.

2nd day: Panama City
You will take a chopper ride that will last around 30
minutes. The tour will take you across the city, going north above the
rainforest up to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort, and coming back along the
Panama Canal seeing also Miraflores Locks. We will use several 3-5 passenger
helicopters to handle a group of up to 20 persons going at the same time.
After a delicious lunch you will continue exploring the
historical sites of the city by bus and foot.
In the evening you will have your dinner served on a yate
cruising Panama City Bay and enjoying its lighted skyline.

3rd day: The Chagres Challenge, Jungle Expedition
An early start at 5 am when you will picked and taken in
an all-terrain vehicle to the remote village of San Cristobal, which is past
the mountains of Cerro Azul, northeast of Panama City. After enjoying a
typical Panamanian breakfast, you will hike for about 2 hours on a trail
within Chagres National Park up to Rio Piedras, a Chagres River tributary,
where you will get into rafts to float downstream(Class II-III rapids) into
the untouched jungles of the Chagres River. About noon you will have lunch
on the riverbanks. Then, you will continue your trip further downstream
passing an impressive granite canyon with some white water rapid action, and
ending by Madden Lake. There you are expected by a “piragua” (native wooden
canoe equipped with outboard motor) that will take you, passing along Embera
Natives villages in the river banks, to the nearest road where a driver will
be expecting to bring you back to civilization, and to your hotel in Panama
City.

4th day: San Blas
This morning you will depart for the extraordinary San
Blas Archipelago, a Kuna Native Reservation. The Kunas are well known by
their handcraft and unique culture.
You will depart at 7 a.m. to get your airplane at 8.30
a.m. After a short flight you will be ready for your sailing trip at 9.30
a.m. On a small island you will stop to enjoy the beautiful white sanded
tropical beach, to snorkel and swim or play volleyball. A gourmet lunch and
rum punch will be served. You will have a chance to get to know the Kuna
Indians living in this area while they show you their famous handmade Molas.
Then, you will depart for your return sailing trip and your flight back to
Panama City where you will arrive around 6 p.m.

5th day: Chiriqui, "Quetzal Trail"
You will board a 7 a.m. flight to David City, toward the
west, close to Costa Rica. From David, you will be transferred to mountain
town of Cerro Punta, where you will hike “Los Quetzales” trail toward
Boquete. With luck you will see the magnificent Quetzal, a bird only found
in cloud forests of Central America. This hike will last 5 – 6 hours and end
in Boquete where a driver is waiting to take you to your hotel.

6th day: Chiriqui Viejo River Rafting
After an early breakfast, you will head toward the border
with Costa Rica, at Paso Canoas. Close by, you will put in on a
breathtaking, adrenaline rush, rafting tour on the Chiriqui Viejo River with
most rapids being Class III-IV. The river passes through a canyon and
spectacular waterfalls characterize it. Depending on the water level and
section used it you will be rafting about 3-4 hours. At 5 p.m. we will
arrive to David Airport to take your flight back to Panama City.

7th day:
Departure
After your breakfast you will be
transferred to the international airport (depending on departure time). If
time allows it you can search for great buying deals at Los Pueblos Mall or
visit ethnic cultural exhibition at Los Pueblitos, or visit Panama Canal
Miraflores Locks(Activities not included).
